Scholarship Design and Visual Communication
Subject Description
Teacher in Charge: Mr T. Kim.
Objectives & Content
Students can decide to partake in DVC Scholarship program from Year 12 or Year 13.
The Scholarship program doesn't necessarily require any differentiated pages from the original project but rather students are required to attend workshops and pay more attention to detail to further enhance the quality of their work.
The achievement standards students will be doing does not get affected and students who partake in the Scholarship program in Year 12 can also do it again in Year 13.
In Year 12, students can decide whether to submit their Product or Spatial Design project for Scholarship.
In Year 13, students will be submitting their yearly project including their presentation standard (A.S. 91628).
Recommended Prior Learning
Students are offered Scholarship opportunities in Year 12 if they have keen interest.
This allows students to gather some data for the following year where they get to work on a single project for the entire year rather than splitting their times completing two projects in Year 12.
Year 13 students can decide to do Scholarship, if they are willing to invest their time in attending workshops and meet rigorous deadlines.
