Minimum of 3 Assessments at Achieved in Year 11 Economics (one being the End of Year Exam) and/or discretion of Faculty Leader.  If you have not studied Economics in Year 11 you must obtain the approval of the Teacher in Charge for L2 Economics.


Objectives

  • To allow students to explore the major economic issues facing New Zealand today and to develop an understanding of policies that a government may implement to address these issues.
  • To define and measure these key economic issues and to understand their causes and possible effects using economic models.
