Take action to enhance an aspect of people's wellbeing within the school or wider community.
Students will take action to enhance an aspect of people's well-being within the school or wider community. This involves identifying an issue that affects the well-being of people within the school, developing a workable plan to improve well-being, implementing the plan, and evaluating the effectiveness of the action. This will draw on the understanding of SMART goals.
Term 3
Achievement Standard 91235.
Analyse an adolescent health issue.
Preparation for external and end of year exam.
Achievement Standard 91239 - Internally assessed 5 credits.
Analyse issues related to sexuality and gender to develop strategies for addressing the issues.
The analysis involves explaining influences on gender and sexuality, recommending personal, interpersonal, and societal strategies to strategies to address the issues, which reflect social justice.
